Mapscape use Z-CARD to produce Theatreland Map

Mapscape, the 3D map specialists have launched a pocket-sized London theatreland map. Working with Z-CARD® Ltd - market leaders in PocketMedia® - they produced the guide which opens up to reveal the location and listings for all West End theatres and those on the South Bank. The stunning 3D detail means navigating central London has never been easier.

Using the Z-CARD® patented fold technology the end product is an attractive, fun-to-use map with far more durability than a usual map product. Iain Thurgar, Sales Manager for Z-CARD®, said "The combination of stunning design and user-friendly size and fold technology has created a unique, high quality map which people will keep and use frequently."

The map which retails at £1.95 was distributed free last week in the Evening Standard and at the Festive Food and Fun Festival. However as it was BBC Children in Need day people were asked to make a contribution to raise money for this worthy cause.

Z-CARD appoint Christine Werdinig

Z-CARD® has strengthened their marketing department with the appointment of Christine Werdinig as their senior European marketing manager.

Christine - who joins from the Ladies European Golf Tour - has over 5 years experience mostly gained at NikeTown London as marketing manager. She was responsible for planning, executing and evaluating both local and global campaigns including the inaugural Run London campaign.

Liz Love - Managing Director - says: Christine's multi-cultural background and pan-european experience is an invaluable resource for an international company such as Z-CARD®. She will be developing our global corporate identity and ensuring a cohesive marketing strategy and message is implemented across Europe.

Z-CARD® is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Lowe as their production manager.

Nick - who joins from Redwood Publishing - has over 12 years experience in all aspects of print media, from pre-press, digital, sheet, web and gravure printing, paper and finishing. He is tasked with developing new products, managing European supplier relationships and enhancing the patented Z-CARD® machinery.
