| How long does it take to manufacture a Z-CARD The average is 14 days, however this may change with different specifications. We always recommend you speak with a sales representative for times specific to the run size and product format you require. Who supplies artwork? Generally the client supplies artwork on a template provided by Z-CARD design services we can provide these for an additional fee. |

is the required linescreen for the Z-CARD For the cover and inner text sheet we require a minimum linescreen of 150 lpi (or 300 dpi). What is a copy safety zone? A copy safety zone is the immediate area (generally 4mm) inside the trim line. It is there to ensure that nothing gets cut-off due to several production variables. Can I change the size of my templates? We ask that you don't change the size of any template provided to you. These are standard sizes and doing so will result in extra production time (as well as additional charges). If you would like a different size than what you are currently provided with please talk to your sales representative about getting a custom made template. How do you want the files? Please provide on disk all images (cmyk), fonts (printer and screen) along with your art file. We also need a printout and mock-up of your Z-CARD Where do I send the files for print? Your sales representative should provide you with an address. If you need to check, please call us on +612 9318 0900. Do I need to bleed my artwork? Yes, anytime you have a color or image in the background you need to bleed your artwork at least 5mm for the text and 2.5mm for the cover. Can I use extra PMS colours? Yes, please contact us for a quote to use PMS colours with your Z-CARD I see there is space for me to design my outer cards on the template for the inner sheet, why can’t I design it all on one template? Design your cards on the cover card template and your inner sheet on the Inner sheet template. They are printed as 2 separate paper runs and different stocks are used. |
